This is a tiger with no tail. He used to have a tail, but he had it surgically removed. Why? Here's why:
When he was a cub, he had a nanny who was a very kind and supportive lady. One day, she took little McTeggart to a waterpark to teach him swimming lessons, because tigers can swim, and he was young and willing to learn. So he went down the water slide and scraped his tail. He was unhappy. His nanny first cheered when he went down the slide and swam up to the surface, until she noticed the look on his face and she asked him, "What's the matter?" he replied, "My tail hurts!" he swam out of the water and showed her the abrasions and she had to take him home and treat his wounds. Later, he was tempted to pick his scabs, and as a cub who does not know any better, he thought it was okay to pick them, so he did. He did if often until his tail got infected. He did not let his nanny know that until she saw his tail change colors which was not a good sign. She was shocked and disappointed in him for not leaving his scabs alone, so she took him to the doctors and he had his tail removed surgically. And he lived without a tail since.
It is sad, but he toughed it out. And he teaches people to leave their scabs alone and let them heal. Do not be like him. Do not pick your scabs. You'll make them worse.
He also enjoys life, being the best he can be.
