So for those that don't know, I've started my VTubing journey! Not as hardcore as I'd have liked to - my streams are still very irregular - but I'm going into hospital on the 14th which will HOPEFULLY solve all my issues.
When I started up I began talking to other vtubers and honestly? The community is absolutely amazing. So warm and welcoming. I hope to add some more of that warmth!

For live2D you can use cubism to rig it, but you need to separate the art files and such. It takes a really long time to do. I commissioned mine! Then you can use Vtube studio or prpr live for streaming with it (those are my personal recommendations. Studio has a one time free, prpr is free and the packs you can buy aren’t actually needed)
For 3D you can use a program called vroid to make an avatar. It can take some work, but there is a mobile app you can use with far less functions but will still get you a model together. Then you can use vseeface (free) or Luppet (about $50) to track your face.
