From Katana, Ontario, Canada
It's Friday and I don't want to work, I just want to bang on the drum all day!

*laughs... I had to go and listen to 'Bang on the Drum All Day' first just because you mentioned it, and his ukulele rendition was really cute... it must be hard for old rockers. Gloria and I have gone to a lot of oldies concerts over the years and Jay Black has always been a favorite. So - when we say Jay and the Americans coming to town for a concert, we got tickets. We also got taken in - it was the original 'Americans' and a brand new and younger Jay.
They should have renamed to Four Bitter Old Men and a Groupie.
I liked this one... not something I would drink on a regular basis but I'd give it a try.
Gloria is talking about getting a six pack of Anchor Steam Beer for the holidays. I first found it in 1974 in San Francisco when in the Coast Guard. I thought it always tasted like Grapefruit.

Well that sucks, I've been asked if I wanted to see X band due to it being a tribute, but I usually turn the offer down.
I wonder why, as Anchor Steam Beer uses Northern Brewer hops, which are supposed to give a minty, woody taste. Maybe it is the bitter side of the hops that reminds you of grapefruit. Had it been Citra hops, I would have drawn a different conclusion
