Its the end and what do i do grab my freinds and family go to ireland and hold up in a caslte and grabs armor and a humvee on the way.

They're not bad. Hubby had to build and change lots of tires for those, as well as other maintenance work so at least he knows lots about them.

There are a few much better choices than an Uparmored HMMWV. These are very topheavy and roll over at the slightest provocation or misjudgment of the steering wheel. I would go with a larger armored vehicle with greater operating range, less fuel consumption, and more stability such as the M1117.

I love those ASV's. I was just having this conversation today about how they have this intimidation factor to them, and the engines have this cool whine to them. Also, you can drive it standing up, which I think is cool.

Actually, you raise the seat and the steering wheel telescopes out. I used to drive mine through Kuwait turned out like that.

You know, I've never actually been in one. From the way it looked though, the driver appeared to be standing up. That's actually even cooler though. I know MP's like to use ASV's a lot.

They used to be using them exclusively. Now the ASV has become available to the other MOSs to supplement convoy escort firepower.

I know me too but its one of thoughs weapons that the military is doing research in to because it has the stoping power to stop vehicles but not a lot of range so less colatral damage
