Not sure why exactly, but whenever I am around the big cats from a distance, they spend a lot of time staring at me. It's difficult to get pictures of them not staring at me in fact. WHYYYYYY?! Why am I so interesting to the felines?!

Might be something you're wearing. "Red" and all the variations mean "blood" which they might take an appraising interest in. Also, strong odors like cologne or perfumes also get their noses going, which can perk interest.
One never really knows what a cat might be thinking in those sometimes deviant feline brains. :)

Sky blue shirt and khaki pants.
Odorless deodorant (that works pretty darn well actually) and no fake scents. Plus I was downwind. :/
Might be the way I move. Might be my demeanor.
You should probably go see the cheetah weed video I linked from the cheetah pic I took recently.

Well, as I've been studying animals in general for the better part of my life, I've come up with a few theories. Animals, I think, can sense things about us. Maybe they see an "aura" or something, or maybe it's about scents and sounds and motion that tells them of our innate nature. I don't really know. Maybe the animals see something in you that makes them curious or more interested in you than the other folks that visit them.
I've worked with animals over the years - like Genesis, a Bengal Tiger - who would look at me with such intensity, that I truly though he was about to speak and tell me something important. I think, perhaps, I am just too stupid to understand.
Okie. Enuf of my "unverifyable" philosophy. :)
In any case, nice pix!

Sadly, I'd say humans as a whole are too narcissistic to properly understand animals.
For the longest time it was assumed that cats were colorblind. They did a standard 100-iteration test and came up to the fact that they are colorblind. Then somebody thought, "What if we do a 1000-iteration test?" Sure enough, after being subjected to the testing for long enough, the cat's attitude changed and it began getting the colors correct 100% of the time. They came to the conclusion that cats are not colorblind, they just didn't care until it became a hassle and they discovered that getting it right made it go faster.
