World: [Deceased]
You wake up with a jump and a heavy headache from the cold floor, you look around and see that all of your friends and fellow knights lay dead and scattered around the burning plaza, and you see that a majority of the buildings of the capital is on fire. The last thing you can remember is that you and your company was on your way to reinforce the castle, when suddenly something big and fiery hit all of you from above.
Then you start to hear foot steps coming towards you. You turn around and see a well clad man strolling towards you in a slow manner, and looks at you with a grin and starts to chuckle.
"Hmhmhm, well well well, would you look at that, we have a survivor!, how unexpected" he says as he gets closer to you. You remember seeing him outside on the enemy's side leading the hoards of monsters, which completely annihilated the walls defenders.
You weren't going to go out without a fight so you quickly looked for a weapon, and there was luckily one to your right a few meters away from you. You tried to jump for it, but then suddenly the sword was cut in half and the ground underneath it was left with a deep gash from something you couldn't see, but you did hear something that sounded like chains clicking and clanging.
"Now now, there's no need for that now, you've already lost so there is no more need for you to keep fighting, hell, YOU are literally the last LIVING person on this rock!. If i wasn't here talking with you, you would've been eaten the moment you woke up" He said. Eaten when you woke up? what did he mean by that?, you asked him.
"What?, you didn't see em when you looked around?. HA! well soldier boy, let me just say that they are all around us right now, and they are quite hungry" When he said that you looked around again, and this time what you saw... Was a Nightmare given life. Monsters and beast and abominations as far as your eyes could see was standing in a circle around you and this man, and all of them had their eyes on you. Then the man started to talk again.
"Now listen, what you have accomplished today, is something very, and i Mean VERY, few have accomplished while I was on the field. And that is in and on itself, enough for a reward, in other words, i'll bring you to another world which is first scheduled for annihilation way after you have died of old age. But first, i have a question for you" he says as he lifts his arm up, and twists his wrist in a quick fashion, and a fire ball bursts into life in his hand.
"Do you believe in MONSTERS?, Demons, Devils. Ghuls, Dragons, all of those nasty buggers that ether live and roam in the day or the night" he asks and looks at you waiting for your answer, you were about to answer but then he began again. "Pff! of course you do!, for you live in, or rather LIVED in a world, where Magic was a reality. For when magic is real, so too are the Monsters. Tell me, why do you THINK that ALL of these MAGGOTS, hasn't stepped out of line yet to try and eat you? hm?. You saw them on the battlefield didn't you?, then you would know that they are only driven by their instincts." He says.
You look at him for awhile, not knowing what to say, but then he begins again. "It's simple really" he says as he tilts his head a little to the side so the light from the flame can't reach the left side of his face, and when he did that, his left eye lit up with a blood red glow, which almost pierced your very soul when he looks at you. "It's because i'm the bloody Boss monster, and they know better then to piss me off!. Though i don't usually walk around these battlefields in this fancy suit and this long dead face, it's only on rare occasions that i can walk around without my juggernaut armor on, plus my magics tend to work WAY better when i don't have that tin can on, hehe" he says and goes silent for a time.
"...Well ether way, i think it's about time you get going" he said as the fire fire ball in his hand starts to glow brighter. "OH!, and one last thing" He says as he rears back his arm. "Congratulations, you survived" That was the last thing he said, before he flung the fire ball at you, and it engulfed you in it's heat, and then you blacked out.
When you woke up again, you find your self on the outskirts of a forest, with a village not to far away. And you think back to what just happened, and say in a low voice out to no one. "What was that about?"
This was made by the Amazing!, the Phenomenal!, and the Wonderful!.
