Aries and the Goat Knight are accosted by two separate groups united under one cause: capturing the pair and delivering them both to Vuthlad's tyrannical ruler. A revelation is soon brought to light concerning the latter, which brings back memories of days long past to Aries...

Oh, man... This was a doozy...!
This is, without a doubt, one of the longest posts I have ever written. I was surprised at how much there was to this Chapter as I read through the whole thing, especially when it got so large that my old Sta.sh Writer couldn't properly save it all and I had to resort to using Microsoft Word for what little there was left! Luckily, the entire post seems to fit within Eclipse's limits, so I didn't have to make any cuts to the Chapter outside of some proofreading. Still, I do hope it's not too overtly bloated for any of you to digest. I'm definitely gonna 'try' to be a bit more minimalistic with the proceeding Chapters going forward...! ;)
As for Chapter 2 itself, a lot goes down in it! First and foremost is the reveal of who the Goat Knight really is, and let's be real, we all knew he was gonna be the Capricorn Knight...! XD Admittedly, it may not be as big of a surprise and reaction as it should be, but that's because of the situation both him and Aries found themselves in. If they're going to have some serious arguing with each other over the aftermath of what happened in both this Chapter and Chapter 1, it'll probably be at the beginning of Chapter 3; when both are out of harm's way at the moment. That way, it'll give each of them time to breath and try to come to terms with it, as well as figure out a way to help themselves out of the situation they put themselves in after the events of this part. Before then, they just have to work with each other in spite of their gripes... Then there's the introductions of the two main villains of the story: Sebastian Cooney and Ardal Achterberg. To put thing's in a simple manner, I really liked coming up with those two characters (particularly Sebastian) and wanted to show them off as well as I could. Hopefully, that was the case, and trust me when I say that they WILL be showing up in the later Chapters of this story despite how our two beleaguered Zodiacs escape from them here; they have their ways, after all...! ;)
Finally, there's the second half of this Chapter, which is one gigantic flashback sequence! With it and this whole story being made, I wanted to illustrate and introduce two very important details: Aries's bonds between his Master and Capricorn. The first is something that'll be explored in bits and pieces throughout the Zodiac Knights series as a whole, for it IS this relationship that led to Aries taking the path in life he chose to live. The second is something that'll be explored primarily throughout this particular story, since Aries and Capricorn are the two main leads and I want to show how the two of them, despite their differences, are two very close best friends that'll always have the other's back. Hopefully, they came across well enough, especially the latter since I feel their first meeting, however short and rushed it may be, held a sweet taste that has some underlying weight to it that'll most definitely be touched upon in later Chapters! :)
Regardless, I hope you've enjoyed reading this part of The Ram and The Goat! As always, if there's anything you wish could've been improved on, please let me know in the comments down below! :)
German/Irish Insults
Narkey-hole: An Irish phrase referring to someone who's in a bit of a mood. Basically, Sebastian's calling Aries a 'sourpuss' or something to that affect.
Labertasche: Means 'babble bag' in German. Ardal is trying to throw shade at Capricorn for talking too much, but about nothing.
Heissluftgebläse: Literally translates to 'hot air blower' in German. Basically, the exact same type of insult as 'Labertasche'.
Dope: Yes, one of the many meanings of the word 'Dope' comes from Irish origin. Obviously, it refers to a stupid person, so Sebastian is basically calling both Aries and Capricorn 'idiots'.
