Trapped by the power of the Enchantress that owns the garden in which you trespassed, you've been partially petrified into a polished stone sphinx. Your head and torso held by magical force, perfectly still to match your rigid pose. You can pull against it to look around, but inevitably it snaps you back into pose. That heavy collar around your neck reminds you of your new position in life... your new purpose. A warden for the Enchantress's garden, perhaps to animate and move when she needs you, but meanwhile, you'd better get used to your place on the plinth~
Greatly inspired by the RP and general style of everything that happens at the Realm of
Cirri on SL!
Fun stuff, and something of a redo of an earlier sphinx partial petrification, trying to improve on it.

An excellent image as always, sir!
Incidentally I'll give the story a peek soon, probably just as good. Of course, if you ever want additional stories, might be able to assist myself. I could use the exercise, after all, and these are some fun kickoff ideas to work with

Simultaneous animal transformation and petrification? Yes please.
And besides being an obvious fan of the subject matter (especially those paws merged into the stone plinth), I'm really digging the colors and the shine. Also a rather big fan of the collar design with that lock placed just as prominently as it is ironically given that it will never be greeted with a key.
Great work as always!

I recall you mentioning in the stream that you liked the paws fused into the plinth... really a detail I think emphasizes that the plinth is now a part of you as much as anything else! And you're truly stuck on it. Maybe that key hole is just to tease with the barest thought of it opening, unbeknownst to the wearer though that no such key ever has or ever will exist.
Glad you like it. <3
