Some studies for the purpose of practice and some space filler.
I'll probably move this to scraps later, but I'm putting it here first because my tutors have been saying to me, "Emily! You mustn't be afraid to show people your sketches and your thought processes! You do not have to be perfect!"
So forgive me for showing you horrible rough work that won't go anywhere, ever. :P
Anyway. Here I am, displaying my sketches and thought processes to the world. My thought processes apparently include a melting snail, a creature that has an identity crisis and a ferret wearing a tie.

I love the plush, or at least I think it's a plush, of the earless elephant... thing. Very cute. Also, I think the "Help! What am I?" thing is a cross between a light bulb, the grille of an old car, a gas mask and accordion! I guess that would make it a "Gasgrillelightbulbdion"?
Let's see... knight in shining armour, some purdy scenery, pussy, and a whole bunch of random crap. Yes, I think I can approve of this.
These quick, spontaneous doodles are perhaps some of the most fun and interesting kind of art there is, especially when done by someone with such obvious technical skill. ( And plenty of weird ideas, to top it off. )
I demand you poast MOAR of these!

That kinda thing up in the top left, suit of armor, still looks very realistic even though its not refined. Like it just grabs me -- its got the essence of real.
The thing is the bottom right is a medieval Team Fortress Two Pyro ; I hope it finds peace in the knowledge of its identity.
