I haven't seen it before, but yeah, totaly hate it when people remove favorites. I mean, it's not like it's taking up too much room or something.

Problem is that you sometimes accidentally hit the "Add to favorites" button, not meaning to. Either that or people are just jerks.

I sometimes do this when I come across a very old item that I'd already favorited but then forgot. So while they get the additional fav of me adding, they also lose the one I removed.

i hate when people does that to :C first i'm all like "hey! someone liked my stuff actually!" but then when i check i'm like

Me three! I wish when I did that that it wouldn't put a removed notice for the original fave in the list, but rather just replace it.

Hmmm... based off of the posts in this block here it looks like there are enough people with reasonable reasons to screw with faving and unfaving for unrelated reasons as to warrant a new FA feature. As such I would recommend starting a petition to the FA dev team to add a new feature allowing one to order one's favorites. Shouldn't be too hard to do (unless the relevant code is poorly written legacy crap) and clearly there is both a demand for it and a significant amount of unintended and potentially confusing behavior used to circumvent the current system to satisfy that otherwise unsatisfied demand.

Great idea! Like you could have your magazine roll of chronological favs, but I don't see a reason why you couldn't have a sub album of ordered favs. I kind of do that with saving images from time to time, but it would be nice to have it up on the site. A better way of handling favs of ANY kind would be welcome!

I've had it happen to me, and they didn't re-fave it...so, I'm assuming they didn't like that particular piece anymore. :<

Well,some people just have so many faves,I mean it's kinda' crazy sometimes.Plus,loads of artist delete their stuff sometimes and it leaves useless space in the faves too with those Giant X-boxes. (wow,I could make a joke here.)

Seriously..the only, and I mean ONLY time I've ever removed favorites has been faving a short comic, and then deciding it would be better to fave it in reverse order so it would be listed numerically in my favorites menu

I thought about un-faving this 24563456 times but I'm too lazy.

Hehehe, I was the cause of an unfave once... *sighs* Sometimes, when I accidently click it, I try avoiding this situation, by keeping the fave in my faves... XP I know that people mistakenly click the fave button, and correct their mistake, but geez, it still kinda bothers the artist when they see that sitting in their inbox... XDD

With respect, in the world of movies and music, I 'un-fave' and 'un-watch' all the time: as a teenager I loved the Akira movie, but the older I get the more obnoxious I find the characters; I gave up on Martin Scorsese's movies once he started working with Leonardo di Caprio, and so on.
