You know since around 2012, the tiger is the symbol of bara - masculine homoerotic pride mightyness - replacing the former bear symbol, as it acknowledges a wider and diverse variety of male forms being more inclusive than the bear-one. Tigers could acheive a physical matchable as bears as well being more athletic too, so that's why were used in the end and has been since then. (Bears weren't replaced totally just went to represent the inner true classical hottest hardcore center of it.)
