tis a bit of an expensive program :x i got mines on a student liscense for about 108$ though alone its like 700$

How do you do you get a student license on it ? Is it easier to use like that other one you had linked ? 3ds max would have to be the most expensive.

the student liscense is mainly because i've taken classes at the community college here, and yes, curvy3d is a cheaper program though it lacks a couple features zbrush has, and 3ds max tends to be a bit overrated, the most expensive 3d program you can likely get your paws on would be Luxology Modo 401 which although absurdly complicated, is used for alot of modern cgi applications in movies

I plan on taking a few classes as well the only problem being is i have no idea what the name of the classes would be of what category they're in.

you'd have to check the class rosters of your local college regarding that
