I need to look up why that is. I mean understandably skirts won't have pockets but pants should.

Then again I also have to ask why back pockets exist cause kind of hard to shit down with stuff between your butt and the chair.

I know, it's probably doing hell on my back with my wallet in one pocket and nothing in the other.

I use back pockets to hold various thing through the day at work, but I stand much of the day and the things I put I nthr back pockets are usually temporary carry, like tools or supplies getting from point a to b. Anything staying in my pockets all day goes in the front.

Due to the expanding women's sections in stores and the disappearance of mens, there are several manikins set up in my local target. one of them shows of the new fashion for women. Jeans, with fake pockets(they look like they have an opening for them, but it's just a cosmetic seam).

Less TG more just fact that pants (particularly jeans) for women commonly have fake pockets because real pockets would make them look less appealing when worn due to lumps formed by fabric and items.

I think it was initially to force would-be suffragettes to have to hold purses.

This is what they say, but it's not true. The less fabric they use, the less cost. Smaller pockets actually cost less, so they skimp.

Good news is. she'll have an easier time finding clothes. Many retailers target, wally world ect, are removing their men's sections.
clothes and shoes. Over the years the local target i go to, has gone from having half their shoe section being 'mens and boys' to entirely women's and girls. the boy's shoe section is relegated to a small 3 by 9 vertical shelf area with a couple of shoe styles on display and boxes haphazardly stuffed in shelves.
the adult mens doesn't even have a display, though it's in a 3x3 foot section in an un-labeled corner of the men's clothing section. no rhyme or reason to how they stock the shelves as sizes and styles are just stuffed in there.
If you're a guy, your choices for shoes is either try to luck out to find a decent style in a size that fits you in this anti-male setup. Or go to a dedicated shoe store and pay upwards of eighty bucks.

I was wearing shoes with holes in the toe for about a year now because of this. target used to have decent shoes at a decent price. this pair was bought from a specialty store and it didn't last half as long as ones i used to get..

That's really bizarre. I do about 75% of my shopping in WalMart and Target, and they both still have large clothing sections for guys. It's a bit smaller than the women's section, but it's certainly still there.

God, I wish the lack of pockets in women's clothing were just a joke! The struggle is REAL! You'd think that, at least, JEANS would have pockets, but they're usually fake/decorative or about half the size of the average cell phone!
