And there it is! The second piece for today and the keystone that concludes my ROCKtober-special - fitting right into the missing decade - the 90s - the musical era I was brought up in.
I've learned about this song rather recently - by a rendition of Mike Massé.
"No Rain" is a song by American rock band Blind Melon. It was released in 1993 as the second single from the band's debut album Blind Melon. The song is well known for its accompanying music video, which features the "Bee Girl" character. The music video, directed by Samuel Bayer, received heavy airplay on MTV at the time of its release. It subsequently helped propel Blind Melon to a multi-platinum level.

I've been singing this one on and off for quite some time (even performed it live once)... and I hear my little flaws in there.
But on the other hand, I admit it's not so easy to sing... so overall i'm content. And I also had to rush it a bit and finish it in an hour, because it was already around 9 PM when I started this, and I had to take a break in the middle because my voice was cracking up slightly.
Anyway, I don't want to bore you with details. ^..^
