If you don't have a Patreon account, don't worry, for signing up Patreon doesn't require billing information, you can leave it blank. I've spent my first five months on Patreon without billing address myself.
So, why? There's a catch?
Because I still want to have fans that for whatever reason can't have an online credit still to leave their opinion, in a computable way. Comments are cute and warm my heart, but I just can't put them in order on a voting spreadsheet.
There's a catch? Yes. because I (kind of) know how to use spreadsheets, and I will download the results of every pool and apply a weight at each vote depending on the patron status of the voter.
If you aren't a patron your vote will be lighter in the count, but still matter.
Also, and that for me is the best part, now the pool results that Patreon shows us will be no longer reliable because I will reshape them with the weighing, so it will be still a surprise for you when the vote will affect the story.
