So Konami did a poll to make support for an old yugioh archetype, and they teased me with the possibility of new Fire Kings. They lost round 1.
You know what? FINE! I'm gonna make my own Fire Kings!
Here's the first one. Fire King Avatar Sarangay.
Following the east asian theme, the Sarangay is a minotaur in filipino myth, which has magical jewels in it's ears, which it protects fiercely.
I think I nailed the yugioh card artstyle, somewhat.
As a card, it would be like this:
Level 4 Beast-Warrior
1600/200
If a face-up "Fire King" monster you control is destroyed by a card effect (except during the Damage Step): You can Special Summon this card from your hand.
If this card was destroyed and sent to the GY: you can target and destroy one Spell/Trap card your opponent controls.
