So with its current instincts and intelligence, Alma is more like a dangerous feral creature that is capable of loyalty, definitely a result of Amelia rescuing her.
She has a protective restraint around her tail to prevent her from poisoning anyone I assume. But I can still see there is a single spike pointing out of the tail. I don't understand what the collar and shackles do though. Are they shock collars? Magnetised to increase weight to hold/slow her down when triggered? And she doesn't even have a muzzle preventing her from biting anyone with her poison (if she has any there) unless she has two separate types of venom, one injected and via bite is probably less lethal and more treatable, meanwhile the poison in her tail is probably the most lethal thing of her.
