Stalking and standing next to me
For i am all they seek
Haunting and taunting yet do not speak
Attacking with visions and memories
Knowing this feeling isnt tempory
Dark shadows growing over, Blocking all senses
Hair stands on end, Body tenses
Making soul and mind groggy
Cant see the light just dull and foggy
Feeling trapped and bound
Wondering if ill be found
Feeding off knowing i can not tell
For this is my own personal hell

All my demons, I try to hide
But I'm never out of their sight
The fear they will take me back there
Take me back there for one more scare

The night buried deep in my mind
If only someone could have been kind
Then I might be able to get free
And finally be me
But I have all these demons chasing me

If only someone had seen
Maybe they wouldn't have been so keen
But no one knows
I doubt they would opose

No one sees
Even when I was begging on my knees
No one feels it
Cause I was the one who got hit

Because this is my personal hell
I cannot tell
But I must fight it
And I must survive it

So I can be the real me
And not the person everyone sees
