This was concept artwork for a children's book I was developing at the time. The three-fingered hand was an attempt at stylization, which didn't turn out quite right, but I'm pretty happy with how it came out otherwise.

Strange as it sounds, your general style (stylized or not) looks alot better with four fingers. XD I usually hate the Pinky and am convinced it's a lie, myself, but with your style it does look right.

Honestly, I'd have never noticed the hand if you hadn't pointed it out. My eye is drawn to the face & then bottle.

I think for the three-fingered thing to work, the hand would have to be less handlike and more pawlike and toony. Otherwise, it looks like the typcal hand given to martian aliens haha.

Agreed, I think that's the problem as well. I should have made the fingers wider and stubbier for it to work.
