It's a common line. Off the top of my head, I know it's in Romeo and Juliet (Juliet: "Make haste, make haste, this lingering doth us wrong!") and from a Robin Hood ballad ("With that an arrow by them flew/It was from Robin Hood;/"Make haste, make haste," the sheriff he said,/"Make haste, for it is good."). The Robin Hood is the only one I know from a prison scene, but it's the sheriff saying the line.
Of course, I'm sure anyone escaping or aiding an escape would say such. x3

Me encanta tu diseño.
Demuestra varias facetas y muy interesante.
Un ave que representa tanto una libertad, un amigo, un libertador, un escape, tal vez de tu propia vida.
Una celda donde estamos atrapados, la llave que representa una libertad, la mirada de esperanza
Buen trabajo.
Un saludo desde mexico.
I love your design.
It demonstrates several facets and very interesting.
A bird that represents a freedom so much, a friend, a liberator, an escape, perhaps of your own life.
A cell where we are caught, the key that represents a freedom, the look of hope
Good work.
A greeting from mexico.

WOW, you sure get a lot of comments. When I first saw the image I was going thinking "Well that cat is going to eat well tonight," but then I saw tittle and thought about the image again and realize that the cat is sending the bird away perhaps to send out for help. Then a third thing came to me as the bird might be landing into his hands with a message.
Anyway you look at it is a very nice picture.

The colors and textures in this really grab your attention. The flow of action is very smooth, and the posture and intensity in the leopard person is dramatic and intense. I just love how the light shines on his wide open eyes, and how his face is partially hidden from view by his outstretched arms. The crow's expression is mysterious as well, albeit more relaxed than the leopard's. You did a fine job giving him personality and at the same time maintaining a sense of realism. Beaked faces seem difficult for a lot of people to depict with emotions, myself included. I'm loving the narrative in this as, given your limited description, every time I look at it, I'm trying to fill in the gaps and create a story for it. It's so nicely dramatic and narrative.
Your art's like reading a good novel. If you wrote a novel (or a graphic novel in your case), I'd buy it in a heart beat. The places and characters are so interesting, and I like how so many seem to be set in pre-modern times. *sighs contentedly* One can really fall into your worlds... *dreams*
