Not a bad attempt with photoshop! Keep at it, it'll get easier as you familiarize yourself with the program. I do like what you did with the reflection, but I would suggest keeping the subject more in focus by using more sharply defined lines for his outline and markings.
The shading style is odd, but I do like it.
