Man, in addition to finally seeing Tristan stand up for himself, I absolutely adore the world-building in this comic. You can tell their thief hideout is literally this rinky-dink shack that they constructed themselves in one afternoon and you can see the hints of a campfire pit with little stone benches in the first panel. It's so good.
I got the feeling his partners might boss him a little bit, before slapping him, threating him, and finally putting a knife under his throat, asking him again if he really wants to leave.
Then, remembering the wise words of the Goddess, Tristan would face his opponent, looking him right in the eyes and telling them something like "I rather die than staying with a bunch of thieves like you, I'm out."

Only took being thrown in front of a goddess, getting kicked by one of her buggie pullers THEN being healed by her as he "distracts" her by being told he should find better friends.
I'd call thay an act of a Goddess, but I'm happy he finally left those thugs. I wanna see him tgrow the grain at the green scaled dude with a corny one liner as an extra or sumthin X3
