A long time ago when I was still in the middle of creating Gretchen, I thought it would be neat to throw my interpretations of Hansel and Gretel into the mix.

The idea was that instead of Hansel and Gretel would not be enemies of the witch, they were taken care of by her instead. The idea goes that the two were a pair of trouble making pranksters who would too far, so they were thrown out by their parents. They would later find Gretchen's abode and try their shenanigans with her.

Ultimately Gretchen would get the best of the two, but instead of being angry at them, she actually found their antics endearing. So she'd take them in, making the siblings into a pair of minions who were allowed to cause trouble, but they'd still have to work for her on the side. They'd basically become minions of Gretchen's reminiscent of "Pain and Panic" from Disney's Hercules.

Keep in mind that what you see here is just a first draft of the designs, as I never finalized the concept and even scrapped it. But after awhile of talking with friends about the idea, a lot of them agreed that Gretchen having Hansel and Gretel as her personal little minions was a neat idea that could lead to neat concepts. So I figured I'd bring this idea back, especially with how well Gretchen herself went over with people.

In the future I intend to give these two a redesign and revise their back story and personalities to make them more refined.
