the spotted ones are fallow deer :)

i went to point reyes which has one of the largest populations of wild elk in california. and saw some elk (including 2 big males at either end of a field calling to eachother, i was hoping to see battle but all they did was bellow) and some fallow deer. the fallow deer are non native and were introdued as hunting game from europe, but they do little harm so numbers are just maintained VS exterminating them.
