Jeffery and Maggie (Sara's parents) share a close moment many years ago... I hope to someday iterate on that in the comic giving them some proper backstory, painting what happened to Jeffery to make him snap and so forth. I almost considered making his own ~20 page miniseries explaining their history but I feel like that would be too much simultaneous comic page making which would lead to me becoming very burnt out (if only I had a clone).

Also I changed Maggie's design slightly giving her white 'socks' on her paws (I'm not sure if they'll stay or not)
This was a kinda fun drawing to make as I generally don't do a whole lot of actually romantic art and I thought I should give it a try.
And no I'm not gonna draw what happens immediately after this moment as that would go against my generally sfw limitations, I'll leave that part up to your imaginations...

If only I had a clone or unlimited free time I'd be able to get into a lot of the lore surrounding the story along with explaining backstories of certain characters better. There's even things I want to explain about the characters on screen in the comic right now but that means potentially grinding the story to a halt for months or longer (as as it stands I think it's been doing enough 'dinking around' for a while, funny how a little diversion in writing turns into over a year of pages)
I know the feeling. I've got three stories, including the one I'm currently working on, that I've started. If I had a clone that thought the way I think, I could get at least two of them completed in a timely manner. Plus, I've got ideas for three more stories I'd like to get written.
