The closest thing i'll get to a electric car is a hybrid(and I don't mean a Prius) and in my opinion, noise is part of the driving experience

I hear you, my mate and I traded a Lotus in for our i3 and sold all our other cars. I miss having a sports car, but man, even a practical city car like the BMW i3 is a BLAST to drive.

Going 140mph on a track with no engine sound is really really nice, especially when you can hear what your tires are doing that much better!

Some EVs can produce sounds like an ICE, artificial obviously, from the speakers
