That's a flaw I see in Katherine's vision: yeah Zoana said he didn't teached her to be like him, but that doesn't mean he didn't teached her anything. Teaching some techniques isn't the same as a mentality/doctrine teaching. She's simply seeing things the way she want to see, not how they are;

Sounds like if anyone was an accomplice to Hemlock, it would have been Katherine. Judging by her ranting.
