Well, personally, I wouldn't say the buck teeth were CREEPY...
They were just...not her. I don't recall seeing any art(official or not) that had her with buck teeth besides yours(doesn't mean there weren't any, just that I haven't seen any). It just looked out of place. I DEFINITELY prefer the newer version.
