I've been feeling like I didn't make it fancy enough this whole time lol xD
I think at one point when I was testing out reminders I did a bunch similar like thatlol , but now I limited it to every other day xD Sometimes I flat out forget to post reminders tho LOL

Sometimes simple is best. One of the drawbacks to really fancy and flashy characters are they're a PAAAAAAIN to draw. Sure those intricate tattoos all over their whole body might look nice but GOSH are they a hecking miserable time drawing them xD
(And sometimes they end up looking too gaudy and stuff on top of that)
I'm fine with reminders, but when people spaaam them oh geez xD
There was one guy that was doing a 'multi-slot YCH' thing that went on for like a month of almost daily reminder submissions. ><

omg TRUE. My character Inferno, he is a NIGHTMARE to draw and he's just heavily played. I feel that so much lol xD tattoos would be much more challenging, especially with perspective and all.
omg I think I was watching that same person, it was like 2-3 reminders a day if I recall correctly. I personally don't mind it, but I can see how it flooding the front page and all can be annoying xD

Yeah, though if one gets a 3D model of them then that takes a huge amout of pressure off! (The problem is gettig it to begin with eheheh)
Drawing and 3D both have their pros and cons. I think the huge setup time is the major drawback for 3D, but the big con is once it's done - it's done! :D Can reuse it whenever~

True true. I'd love a more recent Inferno 3D model, but the Urbolious one someone made for me is just amazing. Really helps showing different angles of the characters and making sure the horns/crests and all are protrayed correctly. I'd love to get my hands on zbrush for that too lol xD

Goodness, I've had zBrush for almost seven years but have barely even used it ;v;
I've been trying to remedy that with my other programs (Cinema4D and 3DCoat) but I just hnn. It's not that I've lost interest or anything, it's just I keep getting distracted and it feels so hard to muster up the willingness to try practicing and stuff ;A;

Trying to find the courage to do so though haha, often when I say "I'm gonna do it this time" I sit there for like ten minutes convincing myself NOT to do it X'D
I did try messing with a model though (an existing one) a few nights bakc but hmm.
Should really try and keep my sights low for the forseeable future though - the more I thik about "But how will I do X or Y?" the more afraid I get and the less I feel like practicing ;A;

Gosh that's been me lately. I don't know if its the pandemic causing it or if it's just me doing my usual overthinking in general. Like I want to practice and do something small, but then I start to think too much into it, and overwhelm myself and don't do it xD

But yeah. I remember attending a livestream in a 3D Character Workshop I purchased (One of them lifetime access things) and one of the hosts of the workshop said that it's often better to just ope up the program and mess around a bit for a while, than to attempt a full project, when you're in a low motivation state. ^^
