In the secret lab of the Sorkon castle, head scientist Ornox was awaiting the packages that were promised in exchange of an ex captain to take back her position within the army. These 2 specimens were of important value, as Ornox speculated about the possible reasons all his experiments failed.
Project inquisitors was set in motion weeks ago due to the alarming amount of traitors hidden within the northern land. All volunteers were easily killed in their investigations, and soldiers were not thrilled about taking the job , as this is a rank without a proper leader , where they are outnumbered in strengths in numbers.
Thus Ornox believed he could manipulate the Xiridan core to create new enhanced lifeform just like they did to Umasi, but all subject came out as malformation unable to survive on its own, or were digested by the core. The only possibility left was that it needed to be part of the same mutation Umasi had. The strange glowing eyes must be the only ones compatible with the core.
