Thanks! I came up with it hunting idea by the fact the quicksand does not have the deadly sinking look like it has in the movies so I made the creature to make quicksand work like how the movies show it. And I had to find someway to attack food so the fruit looking tail came up. It is a fun creature. At some point I should do a drawing of how it's young looks like.
