So a few months back I had developed a fixation on gargoyles and really wanted to make a gargoyle OC (saw some really sweet designs that inspired me lol), and I also ended up writing up a bunch of lore to integrate the character and gargoyles in general into a fantasy setting I've had in my mind for a while, which is when the idea came about to have a gargoyle that was put back together and given more lifelike qualities using a Japanese restoration artform/technique called Kintsugi (Gold Joinery). When talking to  zaviz about it I was able to commission him to design my lad for me, and yeah, Sylwyn is his name, which was the name of a dragon I wrote about when I was in school for an essay one time, it is pronounced Sel-vin.
Zav also asked at one point if I'd open up the design idea for people to make their own, I like the idea of people having their own Shiny stone lads so yeah, I have wrote up some guidance for people if they're interested! You can find that here: Click here
