Today, I finished my Paint With Water project...I am SO FRIGGIN' HAPPY and proud of this, I just had to share :)
The pad is composed of 10 baby animal illustrations, with a title page (seen in the top photo), and a chipboard back, and has been glued at the top like a pad of paper, so you can easy "tear" off a page to work on it.
As you can see in the 2nd row, I took some pictures of a couple of the animals. Each of those squares contains watercolour paint (safe, non-toxic!). So all kids (or grown-ups!) have to do is dip a paintbrush in water, then brush against the paint colour of their choice, and start painting :) You might notice from the page I'm holding up (you can't really see it on the actual animal page there) that the bottom part of the picture is perferated. Once the picture is painted, you can just tear off the paint palette, and then the picture's ready to hang up :) Or, one can mix-and-match what palette they want to use for the picture, totally up to you :)
Then I took a picture of the kit, all packaged up, with the paintbrush inside (Yup, comes with it's own paintbrush!). The bottom picture shows a couple kits, each with their own paintbrush.
Whew!
MANY thanks to
bigkittywolf for giving me the idea of using watercolours, to make this project possible :)
These will be for sale at WTF (What the Fur), and Anthrocon this year :)
Made from cardstock, glossy cardstock (for the title page), chipboard, glue, and watercolour paints.
