OC Question Meme 16-20 🦖🦩🐠🦎🐐
Saw this meme by elissinia and hawberries on Twitter so I tried doing it with my OCs as well~
Get to know the Ahal Academy "nerd herd" better with these questions. I tried to answer with the character that has the most interesting or unexpected answer and also take the chance to do some worldbuilding as well.

16. How good are they at cooking?
Don't worry, that thigh is a dinosaur-like creature's, what they have for livestock on planet Roia.
17. What's their favourite time of year and why?
Autumn (and all seasons) on planet Roia last for about one earth year, as its year is ~4x terrestrial year.
Don't worry, they measure their ages in Seasons which get translated to 'years' for the reader's convenience.
And also despite Emily liking the leaves' colors, Pattäder are deuteranopic and only perceive hues of yellow and blue, unable to distinguish reds and greens.
Fortunate their plant life changes colors in a way they can distinguish.
18. Do they have a favourite holiday?
I'm still working on holidays and their names and origins, Day of the Masks is an analogue to our Halloween where people go out masked, but not necessarily to beg for sweets. It's done in honor of a very intelligent deity, and caught on so much that pretty much all globalized species celebrate it.
19. Do they prefer buying or receiving gifts?
Needless to say, as an Ikai'kap (Aquatic), Apua is able to explore the shores and the seas to find various sea shells and small invertebrates to use for crafts. In a way, she isn't buying nor receiving gifts, she's making them.
20. How tall are they, and how do they feel about their height?
Zaw-afikh (Saurians) are the shortest intelligent species (olgeds) on average...

I suppose Luis probably has a strong stomach as I imagine that with the roasting via fire breath it's still a haphazard method of cooking.
I imagine the plant life is slightly different from Earth's in terms of photosynthesis though still quite similar, so that would account for different changes in colouration. With the length of the Roian year, their star's habitable zone I imagine is further out so a difference in terms of sun as well.
I imagine there could still be repercussions for Jimi if his voice or mannerisms are recognised, though it looks like poor Muzza is suffering again.
With Apua making gifts and the effort and creativity and no doubt love she puts into them, that just makes it more special for the recipient.
At least Muzza can take comfort in the natural advantages, longer-lived than the taller species and arguably more intelligent as well.
