Yup! Precisely why I wanted to get his ref updated. While there's a few other pieces that correctly show his fur (see the ones by DNK-anais, for example) the previous ref's "shinyness" often had people mistaking what was supposed to be very short summer fur (e.g. like a Weimaraner or other short-haired canine) for hide or scales. This, of course, only compounded when artists made the same assumption based off the ref, creating further artwork that solidified the error.
Thus, the need for a new ref which had it demonstrated to the point it couldn't be missed! Not to mention showing off the extra winter thickness.

I like fluffy dragons that get even fluffier during the winter.

The wing design is fantastic too :D And winter coat addition is awesome- I rarely see this. I rarely see that well thought fur dragon in general.

The back paws and fingers look very tasty to draw *3*
