What conspiracy theories?
It's a fact comic book shops have been closing down.
It's a fact comic book industry employees have been barely making lower than minimum wage and trying to brag about that on Twitter.
It's a fact comic book companies like IDW had to sell off part of their company just to fool investors into thinking they're making a profit.
If these so-called legitimate sources are so reliable, they'd have zero issue showing the exact numbers of how much money and copies American comics are making and selling while manga has no isssue showing the exact numbers and having every right to brag about it.
Independent comic writer YaboiZack made over 2 million dollars on his own comic and comic industry pros from my understanding hate that guy. If they're doing so well, why not show how much more they're making to prove guys like him wrong that they're making bank.
No idea who you're supposed to be that makes you someone that can act so assured with a "Dude, trust me."
You can call them "legitimate sources" all you please but the reality is that anyone can go on the internet and lie and modern journalism is just as guilty of that.

yup. Comic-book physics. I had the same question when Batman Judo threw superman in the animated series. Just saying live action movies generally try to keep a storyline from breaking.
It was still an okay movie, and scenes where very action packed and enjoyable.
Way better than the movie Jumper, doubly so if you read the book first. Ruined a good Abused character that turned hero at the end, however in the movie they instead kept them as a thief at the end.
I grew up in a movie theatre based family [for a while my dad even owned one before his brother took it from him during his dark time/my dads not his] So I generally pick most movies apart (My wife hates this as I can generally know how the story is going to go and now if I see previews I can't talk about movies she wants to go see]
Personally I wished people had powers in real life in general
