After reading issue 10 of the manga Sacrifice to the king of beasts, those two characters were introduced: Fenryr, a casted out former prince of the phantom wolf clan and his servant Gleipnir.
Whoever knows one or two things about norse mythology surely is aware, that such a meaning for a name like Gleipnir would end in such a result^^.
Fenryr: You see! The ancestors of the phantom wolves were once bound with Gleipnir just like this.
Gleipnir: There was no need to demonstrate me to the meaning behind my ame at all...!
Characters from Sacrifice to the King of Beasts belong to Yu Tomofuji

Exactly.
But in Germany and Austria this Manga is published with the title "Sacrifice to the King of Beasts:
https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.....4,203,200_.jpg
Don´t ask e why they used this title, because Sacrificial princess and the king of beasts would be closer to the original japanese title "niehime to kemono ou"

I know right^^
I heard this October Yu Tomofuji had finished her manga story with the issue 15. I am really looking forward to what will happen in the future. From polish fantranslated manga pages I know that there will be a filler episode with an adorable platibus demon and then Saliphie apparantly tries to make an end to the stupid tradition of humans offering sacrifices to the demon king

Thanky much
Aye, Fenrir was bound with chains, but those he could break. Gleipnir was at first glance like a thin thread, but the ingredients were all very enchanting: The beard of an old woman, drool from a bird, sound of a fish, the sound of tapping catpaws and roots of the mountains.

Remembering Norse mythology and that Fenrir was goaded into testing the fetters by the Aesir by the claim that he would gain great fame for his strength, I wonder if this Fenryr might have a similar desire for glory that might get him into trouble. I'm not familiar with the character but he does look to have a sort of roguish air to him, or at least looks like he's not overly concerned with the situation. From the missing ear I imagine he's probably seen his fair share of rough times as has his servant with his missing eye. I'm guessing that Gleipnir is the wiser and more sensible whom has to try and keep his prince from trouble.
Hopefully they'll manage to work themselves free or at least their captors don't have anything nasty planned for them. Certainly not anything like the Fenris Wolf's binding with the part involving the sword and the fact that though he was prophesised to kill Odin, he hadn't really done anything to justify his captivity and that perhaps in the end the prophecy became self-fulfilling.

There is a polish fantranslated version for to read free online on this website: https://mangadex.org/title/18677/ni.....o-kemono-no-ou
I can´t understand the dialogues, but the story becomes more and more interesting, judging by the action in the panels^^
