Adam woke up in the middle of the night, terrified of the haunting thoughts that have been plaguing his dreams lately. His heart was pounding in a silent panic. Adam then became aware of the breathing of his wife Daisy, to his side, and saw how serene she looked, the way her soft features and warm glow looked sleeping next to him, she appeared to be almost holy... He allowed himself to become grounded back into reality by her gentle sounds of slumber. He prompted his chin up with his hand and placed his other hand upon her back, watching and feeling her tiny movements.
