Blixtin: “The moment they realize what they are dealing with...those are the moments I live for.” Blixtin chuckled, her eyes flashing with lightning as she took another swig of her ale.
“When they have me backed into a corner, think they’ve won, maybe even start gloating. Tell me of all my past failures, remind me of the publicized defeats, and tell me ‘thunder goddess’ is too stoic a title for one such as me.” She chuckles again, taking another swig before letting the cup slam into the counter, with sparks softly flowing off her form.
“But then the sky always darkens, the world almost seems to slow down. Thunder crackles over head as they try to understand what is happening, but it’s already too late. I spread my crystalline wings, shimmering in the dim light, before my hands reach up toward the heavens.” Blixtins arms were doing just that right now, the crystals on her hands popping off one by one, forming into a long, curved shape, as she smiled with lightning crackling all about her form.
“My crystals are more than just for show, more than just ‘mana fonts’, they are a weapon, a weapon I know how to use.” She snickers, “and I love seeing the look on peoples faces, when the ‘little thunder god’ they were making fun of moments before, sends the fury of a lightning storm crackling into them.”
In an instant, the bow was made, and within a single breath, her movements had been done. Three shots, all striking true, a thunder clap echoing throughout the tavern, as the three thugs, all drop, bodies softly twitching, along with the memory of the bandits, as Blixtin once again smiles.
“Yes, expressions like that.” She snickers, as the past and present converge. Her fully armored form from atop the cliff, giving way for the partial armored one now in the tavern. But the crystalline bow, still shining just as brightly as it did before, before shattering back into pieces, and flowing back into her knuckles.
“Another round! To not only celebrate my old bounty, but this new freshly gotten one too!” She yells, and the whole bar finally breaks it’s silence to cheer!
And a fresh barrel of ale was passed all around that evening.
An absolutely gorgeous rendition of Blixtin by
zeveth she did such a good job with this pieccccce aaaaaa ; 3 ; Blixtin glows so brightly here in the thunder light! and her armor looks so regal with her pose looking so stoic and amazing! she looks so pretty and it was so cool to show the creation of her bow from the crystals partly from her knuckles, just turned out so dang cooooool >//>. I ended up for the story just doing some separate scene in a bar after this event, my mind having difficulty thinking up something to actually fit here, but I been sitting on this piece for a while and I neeeed more epic pictures of Blixtin in my gallery, so here you go >//> hope the story isn't to confusing, and sorry if it is! Basically she's remembering the scene in the image and recounting it to the bandits in the tavern that want to capture her, her instead blasting them with lighting just like she did on this mountain ridge not to many day's prior. That was what I tried to depict at least >3<; not sure if I succeed, but in either case! this picture is still friggen awesome aaaaaa! ; 3 ; .
