Chapter 10: A New World



(In the space/time rift...)

“What’s happening to us?!” Sky-fall screeched as he and all the Monsuno of the Blue Moon and Blood Moon tribes were all flying through a tunnel, a magical one that warped time and space itself. “Where are we going?!”

“Backslash!!!” Boost howled at the Black Wolf. “You will pay for this sorcery when I get my paws on you!!” “Silence, dog!!” Backslash roared back, he and the Blood Moon Monsuno were ahead of them. “I’ve done nothing to cause this; if anything, your shaman must be responsible for this!”

“Never mind about that!!” Charger called out, the Bull-Elk kicking his hooves in a futile attempt to escape. “We have to escape and return to our human partners!” “Evo, can you and Sky-fall fly out of here?!” “We can’t!!” The Blue Pheonix replied, flapping her four wings desperately. “The current pulling us is too strong!!”

“Twin-sting!!” Spike-lash cried out, his many legs kicking like crazy. “Don’t just stand there, do something!!” “What am I supposed to do, worm?!” The Spider yelled back. “Spike-bat is the one with wings, go crying to him!!”

“I don’t care where we are!!” Lok growled. “We must focus on getting out of here!!” “You should be more worried about yourself, bear!!” Backslash roared at him from below. “When my tribe escapes, we will end you all!!!”

Little did both tribes know that someone was watching them, someone which could change the fates of the Blue-Moon Tribe.

(In a magical pocket...)

There are spaces and there are spaces between those spaces. In one particular space of reality where many magical beings reside, and right now, one of the most powerful sorcerers was watching the whole event from his crystal ball.

He was wearing a blue wizard’s robe and a pointed wizard’s hat with silver stars and cresent moons decorated on it. He had a long gray beard and bushy eyebrows. He had seen the Monsuno floating in the tunnel. “So, that’s her plan...” He muttered grimly. “To bring monsters from another world and enslave them to bring about her conquest.”

His eyes fell on Lok and the Blue Moon Monsuno. “This Blue-Moon Tribe...” he added. “They have pure and noble souls, unlike those wicked savages of the Blood Moon” “To think she would tear them from their home and force them to serve her...” His hands gripped tightly together. “This, I cannot allow.”

He raised his hands to the crystal ball. “I may not be able to save both tribes, but at least I can save the Blue-Moon from being enslaved.” Closing his eyes, he concentrated hard and his hands began to glow brightly, his thoughts focusing on Lok and his tribe. “Noble creatures of the Blue-Moon Tribe,” he chanted. “you are touched by the hands of valor and blessed by the grace of Mother Nature; you will not be taken by the forces of evil.”

(Back in the space/time rift...)

“Calm yourself, my brothers and sister!!” Mystic-blade called out as the Monsuno continue to fly through the rift. “We must have faith!!” “As long as we stay together, we will make it through this!!”

“What about Chase and our human partners?!” Batteram called back. “How will we get back to them?!” “We’ll find a way, brother!” Long-fang replied. “Team Core-Tech are strong-willed, they’ll find a way to bring us back!”

“Long-fang’s right, my friends!!” Lok called out. “Our human friends will never abandon us, we must have faith they will find us and bring us home!!” “Until then, we must stay together!!”

At that moment, Lok started to glow in a bright golden light much to everyone’s shock. “Lok’s!!” Neo Quick-force exclaimed. “What’s happening to you?!” “I don’t know!!” The White Bear exclaimed. Soon, the golden light spread to all the rest of the Blue-Moon Monsuno; Neo Quick-force, Charger, Babeon, Evo, Nite-stone, Deep-six, Long-fang, Batteram, Sky-fall, Glow-blade, Boost, Mystic-blade and Clubber.

“Okay, mon!!” Babeon cried. “This be getting stranger by the minute!” “Everyone, prepare yourselves!!” Lok cried out. He was right; soon, a hole appeared in the tunnel and the entire Blue-Moon Tribe dropped from the summoning circle, leaving the Blood-Moon Tribe behind.

“What the flipping hell was that?!” Toxiclaw yelled. “Where did they go?!” “Never mind the fools!!” Backslash shot back. “The Blue-Moon have just sealed their fate!” “All I care about now is getting out of here!!” Sadly for Backslash, he and his tribe were on their way on being summoned by Maleficent.

As for the Blue-Moon Monsuno, they were falling from the sky. “I don’t like thisssss!!” Glow-blade hissed, his eight spider limbs flailing about wildly. “Where are we going?!” “I don’t know, brother!!” Clubber replied. “Just brace for impact!!”

Little did the Blue-Moon Tribe knew, they were about to land five miles from the town which was close to Eric and Ariel’s palace. And unknown to Lok and his friends, they would go on their greatest adventure yet!!
