Black and white lineart of the Lieshacites' fixer and supplier, Mhesan Honeymoore!
Mhesan is a Honduran White Bat Arkborne, aged 26 in human years. A heir to the Honeymoores, a wealthy family involved in the food industry of Aerenas, Mhesan would have been set for life...if he hadn't had to contend with the fact that the Honeymoores have also been heavily involved in the Prosperists' slave industry, buying and selling not just Dhenbloods for cheap farming labor, but also the Zalqum shackles and chains they used to sap away their free will and senses. Mhesan's grandfather Frugeii Honeymoore almost broke the cycle when exposed to World Lotus anti-slavery propaganda by treating their Dhenbloods with kindness, and even plotted to release them sporadically into society. However, his family began to expose him to media supporting the Simuraroc, and he regressed into his old slavery-supporting ways. As Mhesan was close to his grandpa, this turn of ideology shocked him, but his family pressured him to go with it, as he was a Honeymoore, and as Honeymoores say,"Just shut up and eat." As a result, Mhesan figured he couldn't change the way his family thought and ended up becoming like the rest of them for awhile.
However, his true feelings about his family came out when the Simuraroc's beliefs began to leak from Frugeii into the rest of his family and dividing them; conflicts at gatherings became all too common. Couples divorced, friends were severed, jobs were lost, and ties were unbound. What sent Mhesan over the edge was Frugeii developing severe dementia and mistaking Mhesan for his father, showed him an inheritance comprised of an underground plantation house with hundreds of Dhenbloods staffing it and working the fields that were so sapped by their Zalqum shackles that they did not respond to external stimuli...as if they had died and their bodies continued to animate. Sickened by this discovery, and angry with his grandfather for destroying his family, Mhesan suffocated him in his sleep with a produce sack, and then leads the zombified Dhenbloods into a barn and sets it on fire, destroying the plantation house in the process. Mhesan then fled to the city of Ahmdepor, where he was recruited by the Lieshacites, while hiding the shame of what he did.
Mhesan discovers that he has druid blood in him like many of the Lieshacites, and he acquires a staff that generates regenerative sap that he uses to heal his allies in combat against the Simuraroc. On the front lines, he serves a healing and support role, despite being kind of a snarky asshole who advocates for others to look after themselves. Away from conflict, he serves the Lieshacites as a fixer, acquiring resources for their movement. He turns the stereotype of the party healer on his head, and hates having to "carry" people who don't do their part and avoid taking damage carelessly...after all, an MMO party healer has a mana pool that doesn't last forever!
Note: Being essentially from an agriculture and food industry tycoon family, Mhesan's somewhat whimsical last name was meant to come off as an endearing last name you'd expect a southern farm/plantation-owning family to have.
