I saw this charm on ebay http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v.....essiecharm.jpg and thought "Has potential, but those lips just kill it for me" so I decided to try it out myself. I confess, this IS a trace but I added my own touch ups to it like fixing the lips and I really like how it came out

I can't draw lips. They just look wrong. To counter, I simply draw a little mark below the bottom of the mouth to simulate a lower lip. That's all you need.
