Ardhan and I went out hiking in the mountains together, and had a great time. The air was cool, but not cold, and our jackets kept us plenty warm as our exercise kept our body heat up. It seems we didn't pack enough flight potions though, as we ran out on the way back and had to run to this old bus stop as it started raining. (Since, y'know, we can't actually fly without magic - our wings aren't proportionally big enough for that.) And of course, the only bench left is underneath a gaping hole in the covering. I was about ready to sit on the floor under the remaining covering when Ardhan brought out his wing over the hole and blocked the rain for me. After verifying that he was sure about being fine in the rain and realizing he wouldn't fit in the shelter anyway, I used a rag from my backpack to wipe the bench clean while Ardhan set his backpack down under the remaining ceiling where there was no bench. Finally, I was able to sit down safe and dry on the bench under Ardhan's wing. Well, almost - I think it's alright if my tongue gets wet; the rain is a bit cooler than the water we brought. Eventually, a bus should arrive, according to the information Ardhan was able to look up on his phablet. I'm half hoping the bus will be too small for Ardhan though, because if it can't accommodate him, he's offered to carry me home himself...
