What's this? A male character in my gallery? It's more likely than you think!

Introducing my first proper male character (Indigo Jack doesn't count since "he's" my fursona), Kevin! In nearly every universe Jackie exists in, this guy is her boyfriend/husband. It seems that as long as both of them exist, they will be drawn to each other at some point. It's like a multi-universal law or something.

While Kevin's personality is pretty much the same in any given universe, both his occupation and his last name varies even more than Jackie's does. In one universe he's a baker, in another he's a CEO, in yet another he works in IT. Whether or not Jackie takes his last name after marriage depends on whether or not she likes his last name more than her own.

People who know Jackie are sometimes surprised to find out she's dating/married to this guy. Where Jackie is introverted and pessimistic, Kevin is somewhat outgoing (at least compared to Jackie) and optimistic. Whereas Jackie is highly organized and detail-focused, Kevin is more relaxed and goes with the flow. You might think this is a recipe for disaster, but their different personalities complement each other. Jackie helps keep Kevin grounded and his expectations realistic and Kevin keeps Jackie from seeing everything as always dreary and grey. Jackie keeps Kevin's life from being a complete mess and Kevin keeps Jackie from getting stuck in ruts and hiding from the world. Each of them helps the other be better than they would by themselves.

Kevin does like video games, but he's a much more casual gamer compared to Jackie. Kevin is the guy who does just enough to get the good/best ending. Jackie is the one who relentlessly will try to get every single achievement within reason. He used to really like comic books, but the changing (and dying) state of the mainstream industry has soured him a bit on it. He's more into independent comic books and some manga these days.

One sore point in his relationship with Jackie is that he loves musicals, while Jackie despises them. They've compromised in that he only watches them when she's not home, or at the very least, wear headphones. He only had to sleep on the couch once to learn not to do otherwise.

Kevin has a genetic mutation that gives him a permanent winter coat. He hides it, but deep down he's a bit insecure about it. At best, he's been mistaken for a white-furred ferret and at worse made fun of it. Both he and Jackie like winter the best, because he looks normal and there aren't any plants to trigger her many plant allergies.

Kevin has a rather... distinct voice. He basically sounds like Weird Al Yankovic (though said celebrity usually doesn't exist in the same universes as Kevin and Jackie). So he sounds mostly normal when talking calmly but if he gets a bit excited, well...
