So I accidentally got roped into doing this for 
emeraldvioxx...
I suggested this design as an alternative to her blinding and sorta tacky neon-green-and-black one...and she actually liked it so much she is going to have a fursuit made of it. XD; So I felt I had to finish the ref.
This took a really really long time. Since I'm still struggling with my stupid art block, I had to work on this in several short sessions to finally get it done. It took forever. Designed by me with occasional input from Emmy.
It looked weird flat, so I added some really minimal shading onto it since the swatches are up in the corner anyway.

The really funny part is that her partner wants to commission me to redesign his tacky character, too. XD; I said I'd think about it when I got done with all of my unfinished projects, hahaha.
I love designing characters and colour schemes are my strong point. :3 I totally just spontaneously got this design in my head as how I pictured Emmy looking, and I'm so glad she ended up liking it so much.

I sometimes think the hand-glove/toeless-sock markings are a bit much. Everything else I'm fine with.
But yes, fun fact; I decided that Ziel can change her colours. So her markings, eyes, skin + claws, and base fur can all change to different colours. Could make for less-tacky combinations.
