Today I tried out the expensive pen to mild results (not the pen's fault, I simply misdjudged the size because I couldn't try it out in the store) and today I tried out the cheaper pen. HOLY MOLY I'm in love! Best damn pen I ever inked with in my life! It's a pleasure to work with and even with sizeable blocks of black like this, it doesn't bleed to the other side! I'm never wanting a different pen in my life again!

It's stuff lost to the ages, stuff uploaded to long defunct sites and groups that no longer exist and all. At one point I had a website I had done myself in Furnation, had stuff on yahoo groups and VCL and stuff like that. This and my SFW gallery are what I could gather up from an extensive search of backups and websites. For once R34 and the likes actually came in handy as some folks managed to find stuff I had thought long lost. I also managed to find some sketchbooks that had survived, photo'd and uploaded them, that's why my SFW has such a huge amount of scraps.
Plus I said digital, I have older stuff that survived in the form of fanzines I did back in the 90's. Most of my stuff prior to 2000 got thrown away (alongside many of my older comics) courtesy of my mother.

On happier news, last night at work ended up talking about manga on the discord server of a twitch streamer friend of mine. Someone posted a comic strip that reminded me of a scene from Jojo, I commented, other folks joined in and we ended up chatting the night away. It was amazing how well our preferences synched up, Welcome to the Ballroom, Baby Steps, All Rounder Meguro, Hajime no Ippo, Hitman Reborn, All Out. it was really fun times. I ended up with the names of a couple manga I haven't read yet, started on one and got addicted (Blue Lock, a manga about football ).
My DnD mate was on messenger and knowing he's a manga addict as well and loves football, I suggested to him as well and he flipped out because he loves it as well but hadn't suggested it to me thinking I didn't like manga about football. Was a fun night for sure 😁
