For those interested in what is in store for 'Willow And Timothy' I can reveal these bits of concept art that might help give you an idea of what is to come. I will not give much away, but the story is set in Southern California (like the original idea) and will be a bit darker and more violent, whilst retaining its cartoon appearance.
Willow (far left) is still a mechanic, but now works for her father at their family business 'Speed And Son'. She is a fair bit rougher than before.
Timothy (near left) starts as an officer set to transfer to detectives. His role is as part of a series of crime investigations. Him and Willow do have a relationship in the story, but I won't go further into that for now.
James 'Greg' McGregor the kangaroo (near right) is now a more meaningful character. He is an experienced detective originally from New York who is a friend of Tim's and is leading the investigation Tim is part of.
And then there is Willow's father William "Bill" Speed (far right), owner of 'Speed And Son'. He serves as one of the more important supporting characters but I won't give anything else away.
And Russ and Reg the squirrel twins will be there too, but in a more rivalry based role like in older depictions. I hope you like what is happening so far, but I personally can't wait to get started on drawing this graphic story!

The webcomic was sort of an experiment which in the great scheme of things has little to do with the REAL Willow And Timothy, and as such I would rather not let that be what everyone remembers. After all, the art I drew of them in 2008 and the animation 'Get Your Skates On' have far more in common with what I really have in mind for these characters than that webcomic (which I have all but disowned).
This is definitely NOT a spin-off; to be more accurate it is a reboot/revamp. If anything, the webcomic was a spin-off of the way I initially depicted these guys since starting in late 2007 they first properly appeared in much of my standard art as I was getting to know these characters. Then they were in the 'Get Your Skates On' animation I made last year, which is certainly more true to what I really wanted out of them at the time. But the old webcomic was an experiment, nothing much else really, so I definitely do not consider it a main series as such. However I'm glad you like what I've drawn up so far ^^)
