A commission done for LadyTulipan on PonyIsland

LadyT commissioned me to do 2 digital paintings of her pet dogs Coyote and Shelbie. Shelbie, recently passed away and she wanted a picture made as a memorial for her dear pet. Because this is meant to be a memorial, I have been taking extra time to try to make this as close to her adorable dog as possible.

I finished editing Shelbie last night, but added his tail this morning. After adding the tail and finishing that I sent it off to the commissioner to ask if she wanted a background on the image. She said she wanted him resting on a cloud, and personally I thought it was a very sweet place for a pet that has just passed on.

RIP Shelbie.
