I've been trying to develop this character for a while now, and you can look through my gallery and see my own drawings as well as a reference by  capribebe that I commissioned.

The original inspiration was of my plaguehound pet in Warcraft, but I tried to personalize it a little (more dog-like in the face, flying-fox nostrils, cloven hooves) just so that I wasn't really copying Blizzard's design, per se, but using it as a foundation for the fursona that I needed it to be.

I love Capri's version, but I knew it would just be a much needed step in the direction of the final product. We really didn't change too much from Capri's except adding the yellow on the hands and legs, flopping the ears forward and changing the two tone grey around the face area. The wips on this project were all over the place but finally came together and I couldn't be happier.

Next step is to contact the fursuiter I have in mind... Once I have a quote and assurance that it's going to happen I'll update this <grin>
