This is Maiken, from "The Tale of Two Wolves" and she isn't too pleased in this photo.

Her pack loves attention and they always argue for it when people come to visit. When they get into close quarters they will tend to argue a bit. This is what Maiken is doing here, "Hey! Keep out of my space! Don't muck with me!"

It seems violent, but that is wolf social life - it is their way of talking to each other.
